Romeoville Police Blotter: Arrests for DUI, Retail Theft

An investigation is under way after a Romeoville police officer shot a dog running loose near Irene King Elementary.

April 2

Michael Stoddard Jr., 43, of the 100 block of O'Neill, Joliet, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. in the 1300 block of Normantown Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

April 4

Deividas Kirkliauskas, 37, of the 21000 block of Shady Lane in Lake Zurich was arrested at 4:43 p.m. in the 1300 block of Marquette Drive and charged with battery, according to police.

April 5

Cody Cole, 18, of the 400 block of Arnold Avenue, Romeoville, was arrested at 9:55 a.m. in the 400 block of Arnold and charged with possession of cannabis and paraphernalia, hit and run and improper backing, according to police.

A 17-year-old was arrested at 10:08 a.m. in the 100 block of North Independence Boulevard and charged with battery, police said.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 5:47 p.m. in the 300 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

April 8

Javier Gomez, 26, of the 400 block of Berkshire, Romeoville, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. at Key Largo and Murphy drives and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, improper lane use, failure to display registration and possession of drug equipment, police said.

Jerrod Baker, 25, of the 2400 block of Frost Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 6:38 p.m., in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

April 11

Amber Neitzel, 25, and Angela Neitzel, 29, both of the 1600 block of Connor Avenue, Lockport, were arrested at 2:59 p.m., in the 200 block of South Weber and charged with retail theft, police said.

Karen A. O'Brien, 41, of the 600 block of Elsie Avenue, Crest Hill, was arrested at 12:12 p.m., in the 200 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

April 14

Donald Dunning, 23, of the 4800 block of Springfield Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 4:49 a.m. at Belmont and Taylor roads and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failure to change address, according to police.
