Romeoville Police Blotter: Theft from Open Garage, Damaged Playground Equipment

Romeoville police blotter of May 5-8.

May 5 

A resident of the 0-100 block of Coralbell Court reported a residential burglary at 9:05 p.m. Three laptops and a cell phone were taken from the residence. The estimated cost of the items taken is $890. 

May 6 

A realtor reported the theft of a utility meter from a home in the 400 block of Murphy Drive at 2:41 p.m. It is unknown who may have taken the meter. The estimated cost to replace the meter is $100.

A black marker was used to damage playground equipment in the 100 block of Ferndale Avenue at 10:42 a.m. It is unknown at this time who damaged the property.

May 8 

A resident of the 300 block of Richmond Court reported a residential burglary at 1:53 p.m. A weed whacker, gas can and baseball glove were taken from the open garage of the residence. The estimated value of the items taken is $231.
