Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Theft, Cannabis

The Romeoville Police Department made the following arrests:

Rickey L. Varnum, 44, 225 McKool, Romeoville, arrested and booked into the Will County jail on Oct. 30 on a charge of domestic battery.

Donald Rycraw, 42, 406 Third St., Joliet, arrested at about 5:20 a.m. Oct. 19 at Route 53 and Airport Road and charged with driving while license revoked, no insurance and speeding.

Lauren Petty, 23, 414 Franklin Circle, Plainfield, arrested at 9:05 a.m. Oct. 19 at Normantown Road, east of Sage Meadow, and charged with driving while license suspended, no insurance and speeding.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at about 3:10 p.m. Oct. 19 in the 0 to 100 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft.

Brandon Dawson, 23, 4041 Lang Road, Magnolia, Miss., arrested at about 3:10 p.m. Oct. 19 in the 1000 block of West Romeo Road on an in-state warrant.

Kellie Caverly, 23, 22833 Lorraine Ave., Plainfield, arrested at about 3:45 p.m. Oct. 19 in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft.

Miguel Garcia-Lopez, 45, 419 E. Benton, Joliet, arrested at about 5:35 p.m. Oct. 19 at Southcreek Parkway and Chicago Tube Drive and charged with no valid driver's license and speeding.

Josh Wheaton, 19, 17238 Weber Road, Lockport, arrested at about 10:15 p.m. Oct. 16 on Renwick Road, west of Route 53, and charged with possession of cannabis and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Michelle Lopez, 19, 109 Monticello Circle, Bolingbrook, arrested at about 10 a.m. Oct. 20 on Dalhart, north of Corona, and charged with no valid driver's license and speeding.
