Call it global warming, call it coincidence, but even as we march towards the end of November—a time for snow, some might say!—we are instead seeing temperatures that look more like outdoor-sports weather.
If your Thanksgiving Day plans involve football in a local park or maybe a walk after dinner, you will likely be enjoying some quite warm weather for the season, according to the National Weather Service in Romeoville.
Thursday's forecast calls for a partly sunny, breezy day with winds of up to 20 mph and a high of 62 degrees during the day.
But by Thanksgiving night, temperatures are expected to plunge into the 30s, with a low of 33 degrees and a 50 percent chance of rain. And by Friday, you can kiss the unseasonable tempertures goodbye. The warmest it's expected to get is 36 degrees during the day and you'll definitely need a winter coat at night, when it drops to about 21 degrees.
