NASCAR race fans, mark your calender now: Two-time Chicagoland Speedway race winner Kevin Harvick and legendary racing brothers Bobby and Donnie Allison will be the headlining guests at this year's Race Fan Rally on Sept. 12.
The annual downtown Joliet event celebrates the big race weekend, whcih features the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on Sept. 13, the Dollar General 300 (NASCAR Nationwide Series) on Sept. 14 and the GEICO 400 (NASCAR Sprint Cup Series) on Sept. 15.
Tickets for all three races went on sale Friday.
The race fan event is sponsored by the Joliet City Center Partnership and includes also includes appearances by other NASCAR drivers, show cars, a classic car show, simulators, an interactive KidZone, food from local restaurants, and musical entertainment.
