Molly is a loving 5-year-old female rat terrier that is very special.
Sweet miss Molly has recently had her eye removed after and old injury left her blind in one eye and it was beginning to protrude. Now that she has had the surgery, she is healing nicely and back to her lovable little self, all cuddly with her foster mom and other dog in the home, craving as much attention as she can get. This love bug is happy being a lap dog and if you stop petting her She will gently put her paw your face to let you know she needs a little more lovin. Molly does not have accidents in the house and is fully housebroken. She was crate trained during long periods alone, and now is usually left out for a few hours at a time with no issues. She gets along with most dogs, she seems more comfortable with larger dogs in smaller dogs but has not had any contact with cats. With her good temperament, it is expected she will do well with children of any age. She knows basic commands like "sit" and answers to her name and usually comes when called. She needs a little additional training on walks with a leash, she tends to pull but is very manageable due to her small size. Molly enjoys going in the fenced backyard and taking in the outdoors, she loves sitting and watching everything going on around her. Small toys are fun to chase and she gets her playtime in. This happy girl is now ready to find her forever family and home to love her for always.
Molly’s adoption fee is $200, which includes her spay, vaccines, fecal and heartworm tests, microchipping and registration. Contact the Romeoville Humane Society by email at romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com or phone (877) 813-7300 for more information on Molly or to set an appointment to meet her.
